Fox News’ Shepard Smith is clearly none too interested in Donald Trump’s endorsement of Mitt Romney. Reporting that the Apprentice host’s speech would be coming up in the next few hours, he gave it all the respect and seriousness he felt it deserved.

In other words, he then joked that endorsements from Shakira and Big Bird would be coming next.

Smith kept the joke alive. Later in the show, after Judge Napolitano teased a coming interview with the the prostitutes supporting Ron Paul, Smith couldn’t help but bring it back up.

SMITH: Pimps and prostitutes for Ron Paul, Donald Trump for Mitt Romney, we still don’t know about Shakira and Big Bird but we’ll learn in the next hour.

NAPOLITANO: Isn’t it great being in this business?

SMITH: It’s the weirdest election season I’ve ever lived through and I’ve been here for what feels like 130,000.

Not a massive amount of respect for a guy that, at one point, some people genuinely wanted to run for office.
