T.I. Arrested: Rapper Clifford Harris And Wife Tameka Cottle Face Drug Charges

Iconic rapper T.I., 29, and his new bride, Tameka Cottle, 36, a TV reality star, were reportedly arrested Wednesday night in West Hollywood on drug charges. The celebrated couple, who just tied the knot in Miami in July, were busted when officers smelled marijuana wafting from their vehicle.
The duo were cruising in their $400,000-plus Maybach, a gift T.I. bought for himself when he was sprung from prison earlier this year, after serving seven months on federal weapons charges. He is also currently on probation.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, Jr., and Tameka were driving along Sunset Blvd. at around 10:30 p.m., when police pulled them over. When officers searched the vehicle, after the smell of marijuana permeated the air, they arrested the couple. As to what type of drug was found in the car, authorities are keeping mum and not releasing any information however, TMZ reports, that the class of the controlled substance that was found includes methamphetamines and ecstasy
The couple were taken in to the West Hollywood sheriff’s station and bail was set at $10,000.
T.I’s publicist would not comment on the incident.
